Entry to the Millennium Street Party on 31st December 1999 is by pass only after 7pm. There is likely to be great demand for the 180,000 tickets for the millennium street party and so tickets have been restricted to two per applicant.

Street party tickets will ONLY be available through a postal ballot from 20th September 1999. To apply for tickets by postal ballot send an A4 stamp addressed envelope to:

N.B. Applications for tickets will not be accepted before 20th September 1999(less than a weeks time!!).

As in previous years anyone who buys a ticket to a formal event staged within the street party area (the Concert in the Gardens, New Year Revels) will also receive a street party pass. Passes will also be available to restauranteurs, hoteliers and residents in the street party area.

If you haven't joined our mailing list now is a good time to do so. You will be one of the first to receive information on the key events, tickets and all the latest Hogmanay updates.

H O G M A N A Y F E S T I V A L T I C K E T S

Tickets for all other Edinburgh's Millennium Hogmanay events are available by post (send a SAE), telephone (cc hotline +44 (0) 131 473 2000) and personal callers at the Hogmanay Box Office (The Hub, Castle Hill, Royal Mile, Edinburgh EH1 2NE) from 9.30am on November 12th 1999.

Tickets for the Concert in the Gardens and New Year Revels are limited to four per person.

F I R S T F O O T C L U B

For those worried about not getting a pass into the street party or ticket you might want to consider joining the First Foot Club. Members are guaranteed a pass to the Millennium Street Party (a total of 30,000 street party passes have been allocated to First Foot Club members), priority booking on other ticketed Hogmanay events, and delivery of a programme of events to their door.

Membership costs £15 for single membership, £25 for two person membership, and £110 for 10 people. Further discounts are available for companies wanting larger numbers of tickets for their staff.
