I just wanted to wish you all the very best, from Burlington, Kentucky here in the states. I was a 20 year old member of the U. S. Air Force stationed at Prestwick in 1965, and I remember Hogmanay in Ayr that night 40 years ago. You guys do know how to party!
Everytime I hear Auld Lang Syne, my thoughts wonder immediately back to Scotland and all of the people who were so kind to me during my tour there. I was in Scotland from Jan 1966 to June 1967, and although the weather there isn't my particular cup of tea, the warmth of the people, and all the good times that come to mind more than made up for it.

Wishing a Wonderful New Year
To my friend Katy Cameron in Glasgow & all the ladies from the UK Scrappers board. Hope you had an awesome Hogmanay and that you'll have a wonderful and prosperous New Year!
Would love to be there to join in the festivities, but (sigh) I'm stuck here in Arlington, Texas, USA.
Scotland is in my blood!
Happy New Year to everyone from North Carolina, USA!
Three of my grandparents were Scottish so I definitely feel a kinship to all of Scotland and its people.
