Madness to Headline Edinburgh's Hogmanay

Cockney ska funsters Madness are headlining this year's Hogmanay in Edinburgh, it was announced yesterday.

Lead singer Suggs and his long-lived group said that they are "expecting mayhem."

"Edinburgh's laid down the gauntlet, we're there to take up the challenge."

Madness were formed back in 1976 and have been performing ever since in one form or another, apart from an interlude of six years from 1986 to 1992.

Tickets to see Madness at the "Concert in the Gardens," as well as tickets for the city's popular Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party and the lively open air Ceilidh, The Keilidh will go on-sale to the public from 9.00am, Saturday 10 October.
