Stirling's Hogmanay celebrations are set against the fantastic backdrop of Stirling Castle (pictured), with its impressive views over the central belt.
The City of Stirling's Hogmanay celebrations for 2007/8 start on Monday 31st December at 10.30pm on Stirling Castle Esplanade (gates open 10pm).
The esplanade of Stirling Castle is the site for the town's biggest Hogmanay celebrations. Greeting 2008 will be The Proclaimers who will provide the headline entertainment to bid farewell to the old year.

The official site seems to
The official site seems to be down so thanks for this info. Worthwhile noting also that the google search results page still brings up the info about last year's cancelled event. Don't think you can do anything about that but might be worth mentioning on the main page here.
