Edinburgh's Hogmanay director Pete Irvine gives a brief rundown on events over the three-days and comments on a report in The Scotsman that T in the Park organisers DF Concerts are planning to bid for the contract to manage the annual Hogmanay jamboree until 2018.

Pete Irvine's Unique Events have run the Hogmanay festival since its inception in 1993. In the interview with John Ritchie for Black Diamond FM, Irvine says the article was "a highly speculative piece...  we're totally committed".
